Storytelling is more than preserving moments, it is the powerful act of connecting generations, honoring lived experiences, and shaping how communities are remembered.
Through strategic storytelling across social media history videos and feature writing for The Aurora Magazine, I have developed a distinctive approach to transforming historical narratives into engaging, accessible, and visually compelling content. My work combines archival research, oral history, and digital media to tell stories that resonate across audiences while preserving the legacy and impact of Black women, organizations, and communities. Whether through short-form historical video content or thoughtfully written magazine features, I am committed to creating narratives that educate, inspire, and ensure that important stories are not only documented, but truly felt.
As a Past Editor In Chief of The Aurora, it is an honor to be able to continue contributing to the magazine by writing cover, feature, and special articles each edition.
Associate Editor for Features + Design and Layout
Under the leadership of International Editor in Chief, Shira Amos, I serve as an Associate Editor for the Herstory Corner column. Each edition, I share history about our sorority that is often located deep in the pages of our history books and older Auroras – writing the cover story for the Spring 2026 edition. Using my design expertise, I also serve as an Associate Editor of Design and Layout. Click on each image to read my featured articles.
